Client Intake Specialist

Salary:  $40,000 Annually

Job Summary: Community Action Marin is the largest human services provider in Marin County and is designated by the County Board of Supervisors as the “official anti-poverty agency” for Marin County. The Client Intake Specialist is a primarily client-facing role supporting the entire agency in assessing the needs of community members and connecting them to appropriate resources and services. This individual is the first point of contact for all clients and visitors and provides a positive experience when greeting and serving them based on the values of Relationship, Unity, Service, and Inclusivity.

Director of Central Kitchen Operations

Salary: $67,000 Annually
Full-time: Salary / Exempt

Job Summary: Leads the development of Community Action Marin’s Central Kitchen as a provider of high-quality meals and kitchen operations in our community.

Responsibilities include food safety, tenant management, nutrition education, monitoring, and social enterprise development of fee-for-service contracts.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with California Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) standards as well as with other federal, local and state regulatory agencies. Key internal stakeholders include Head Start and Child Development programs. The Director of Central Kitchen Operations supervises the Kitchen Manager and team to ensure high-quality operations and service provision.

Food Services / Kitchen Aide

Salary: $20,389 Annually
Full-time / 30 hours per week (M-F 6am – 12pm)

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager, performs routine duties in connection with the preparation and delivery of food products and supplies to multiple program sites throughout Marin County.

Salary: $55,184 (includes bilingual and child ratio pay)

Assistant Site Supervisor (All Sites)

Salary: $48,195 (includes 5% bilingual pay)

Job Summary: The Assistant Site Supervisor assists the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily operations. When the Site Supervisor is absent, the Assistant Site Supervisor assumes all responsibilities and duties of the Site Supervisor. Under the supervision and direction of the Program Director, the Assistant Site Supervisor is to support all CDP sites.

Outreach & Engagement Senior Peer Case Manager

Reports to: Assistant Peer Mental Health Services Program Director

Job Summary:  Engage with citizens, families, police and other agencies to locate and assist the mentally ill homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, in Marin County. Provides peer counseling and case management services designed to engage these clients and assist them in locating and acquiring community resources by providing long term outreach and support.  Use personal experience as a mental health client to work with people who have chronic serious mental illness, drug and or alcohol addictions.

Head Start Supervisor

Salary Range: $45,427 – $52,603 Annually

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Education Manager and in collaboration with the Head Start Management Team, the Supervisor assisting in implementing the Head Start Performance Standards, supporting and monitoring program systems in all the service areas, supervising and supporting the growth and development of all assigned Early Head Start or Head Start staff.
