Vice President of Children’s Services

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary: The VP of Children’s Services is responsible for leading and managing two programs with a combined annual budget of over $12 million that serves over 800 low-income children. S/he represents the Children’s Services department internally as part of the agency’s Executive Team and works externally to identify resources, as well as build and promote community partnerships and strategic alliances.

S/he directly supports, promotes, and ensures high-quality programs and best practices in early childhood education throughout the agency. The VP directly supervises two program directors and indirectly supervises approximately 150 teaching staff.

Vice President Development

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary: The VP, Development is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies from diverse sources to grow the contributed revenue of the agency significantly. The VP, Development will establish clear fundraising goals for the agency and plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate strategies to achieve these goals. This position has two direct reports: the Marketing and Communications Manager and the Grants Administrator.

Program Director, Peer Mental Health Services

Reports to: Vice President Family & Adult Services

Job Summary: As a member of the management team the Peer Mental Health Program director oversees the agency’s peer provider mental health programs. Programs include a drop-in recovery center, mobile outreach teams and employees providing support services in County-run mental health programs.

Outreach & Engagement Senior Peer Case Manager

Reports to: Assistant Peer Mental Health Services Program Director

Job Summary:  Engage with citizens, families, police and other agencies to locate and assist the mentally ill homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, in Marin County. Provides peer counseling and case management services designed to engage these clients and assist them in locating and acquiring community resources by providing long term outreach and support.  Use personal experience as a mental health client to work with people who have chronic serious mental illness, drug and or alcohol addictions.

Mental Health – Senior Peer Case Manager

Reports to: Direct Services Manager

Job Summary: Consumer of mental health services (former or current) to provide case management to adults who are homeless and have psychiatric disabilities (which may include Axis 1, Axis 2, and co-morbid diagnoses including dual diagnoses).

Youth Mentor

Reports To: Family Partnership Program Director

Job Summary: Provide weekly mentoring support and coaching services to youth who are receiving public services for mental health related issues. Assumes a leadership role in improving outcomes of children by providing them with problem solving skills, resources and information to link back to their natural community support systems, and support youths in achievement of personal goals.
