ADMIN – Executive Assistant

Reports To:Chief Financial Officer (CEO)

Job Status:Salaried / Exempt / Full Benefits

Job Summary: The EA is the primary administrative support to the CEO and Board of Directors, assisting with communication internally and externally, scheduling meetings and events, Board of Directors meeting preparation, taking minutes, and special projects as assigned. The EA also works with the Office Manager and Receptionist to ensure that the office runs smoothly and meets the needs of staff and clients alike.

ADMIN – Receptionist

Job Summary: The Receptionist is the first point of contact for all clients and visitors and provides a positive experience when greeting and directing them.  The Receptionist also lends support for CAM programs by scheduling client meetings, and assists the Office Manager through a range of clerical tasks.

MENTAL HEALTH – Assistant Program Director

Reports to: Mental Health Program Director

Job Status: Salaried / Exempt / Full Benefits

Job Summary: Collaborate extensively with Admin staff, program supervisors, staff and clients. Coordinate trainings and support systems for staff and volunteers.  Provide mentoring when appropriate and works with staff and volunteers to maintain quality programs and services.

SparkPoint Marin – Career Coach

Reports to: Economic Empowerment Program Director

Job Status: Salaried / Exempt / Full Benefits

Job Summary: The Career Coach works under the supervision of Economic Empowerment Program Director providing career counseling, job readiness, job placement, and job retention services to clients with barriers to employment, including the formerly incarcerated, homeless, and low-income non-custodial parents. Assists clients in accessing other Community Action Marin services for which they may be eligible.

SparkPoint Marin – Financial Coach

Reports to: Economic Empowerment Program Director

Job Status:  Salaried / Exempt / Full Benefits

Job Summary:  Direct Service, 70% of the Financial Coach’s time will be devoted to providing one-on-one financial/career coaching to SparkPoint members. All SparkPoint coaches partner with members to help them assess their current situation, create their own goals, identify strategies, create action plans, and ensure that they follow their commitments. Assist clients in accessing all CAM services for which they might be eligible.

Coordination of VITA Program, 30% – The Financial Coach’s responsibility also includes coordinating the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. This includes outreach for tax volunteers and community participants, management of tax nights and transmitting returns.

Board of Directors

Community Action Marin is seeking members of the community to serve on the Board of Directors (BOD). The BOD is responsible for setting the mission, vision, values and strategy while overseeing the Executive Director. The BOD meets on the 4th Thursday of each month from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
