3rd Annual Dream House Raffle

Community Action Marin is raffling a $2 million Marin dream house overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Proceeds from the raffle benefit CAM in its continued efforts to meet the needs of poor and disadvantaged people in Marin County.

Lighted Boat Parade

Each year, San Rafael unofficially celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with its annual lighted boat parade in the San Rafael Canal. Boaters throughout Marin County devote many hours and days preparing their vessels for what has become one of the largest lighted boat parades in the Bay Area.

Unique lighting schemes and creative holiday themes echo the labor and talents of Marin’s maritime community, all in an effort to bring holiday cheer to the hundreds of residents who line the canal parade route.

This year Marin Yacht Club, San Rafael Yacht Club, and Classic Yacht Assn have partnered together to bring the community this boating spectacular, and benefit Community Action Marin, Marin County’s oldest and largest provider of family support services. The best viewing locations are the Pickleweed Community Center, Beach Park and the Montecito Plaza
